The first of these players did this in the Seattle Supersonics era, striker Alum Wardell Jackson. After ending his college career in the state of Ohio, Jackson was picked up by the Seattle Supersonic with the 98th total selection (during this period of the design) of the NBA design of 1974.

The Mississippi -born in Yazoo, the native Mississippi, played his only season in the league with Seattle and then withdrew from the NBA.

During his time when he made himself for the Sonics, Jackson only wore jersey No. 30 and set 4.3 points and 2.4 rebounds per game.

All statistics and data with the kind approval of basketball reference.
