The strangest factory -Porsche 911 could make a comeback

Porsche does a great business with 911 models with special tasks. These extremely profitable limited runs are for collectors such as gold, all of whom are willing to pay large prices to get you into your hands and spend even more money for further adjustments. The latest brand fillings with the EU’s EU office indicate intellectual property that it is the next revival of an icon of the 1980s, flat building.

Street & track First, our attention drew our attention to fillings for “Porsche flat building” and “flat building RS”, both of which are dated on May 14, 2025. The name translates into “Slant Nose” in English and refers to a special option for the 911 turbo, which replaced the trade of the car, which with the trade with the frog with a flat nose and the pop-up-ups expression brightened an expression of the 935-year-old. Porsche built the cars in an extremely small number in the 1980s and revived the option for the 964 Turbos from 1994, this time with exposed popup lights in 928 style.

Of course, trademarks old names to protect their intellectual property. But Porsche has recently done all types of retro-inspired 911. During the entire lifespan of the 911 of the 992 generation, tribute models were made for certain decades. The 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition was inspired by the 1950s. The 911 Sport Classic referred to models from the 1960s; And the recently unveiled 911 Spirit 70 is obviously a homage to the 1970s. Porsche has announced that it would make four of these models, and a revitalized low building would be an ideal tribute of the 1980s.

The name of flat building RS is particularly fascinating. We know that Porsche is also working on a new 911 GT2 RS. Maybe it plans a special SLANT-NOSE version of this car. If it were building, collectors would stumble across themselves and each other in order to get a allocation.

It couldn’t be anything. But we would hardly be surprised to see a modern low building. It’s almost too good for an idea.
