Conference League final: Enzo Maresca ‘100%’ dissatisfied with the schedule

London – Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca made it clear before the final of the Conference League that he made the misfortune clear about his team’s upcoming schedule.

Chelsea will compete against Nottingham Forest in a decisive collision from the Premier League on Sunday, which will qualify for the Champions League next season.

Her opponents in the final of the next week, Real Betis, will have two more days to prepare for Friday with her Laliga fight against Valencia.

When Maresca was asked about the difference in the preparation time, he said a press conference: “I am not happy, 100%.

“You cannot allow a team to have 48 hours more time if it plays a European finale.”

“I don’t know if it is the Premier League, Laliga or UEFA (responsibility), but it is not normal to play a team that had 48 hours more time than she.

“It’s not right. I don’t know who it is, but there should be rules, absolutely yes.”

Maresca said Chelsea’s last league game should have been on the Betis, or the player of the Spanish team was moved on Sunday.

The Chelsea boss confirmed that the Backup goalkeeper Filip Jörgensen, who played throughout the entire campaign of the conference league, will begin in the final.

“Filip will play the final because he played all the competition. It is now unfair when he doesn’t play the final, said Maresca.

“Filip will certainly play because he deserves to play.”
