Apple Has to work out his latest problems with epic games or return to court to prove that it has a legal basis for the delay in restoring the popular Fortnite game in his iOS app Store, a judge ordered on Monday.

Fortnite recently immersed his game again, but was blocked by Apple, Epic Games said on Friday. The company later submitted an application to enforce the court’s former decision.

The US district judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers wrote in the Monday command that “Apple is able to solve this problem without further briefing or a hearing.”

If the companies do not solve the current conflict alone, the judge wrote: “The Apple official, who is personally responsible for ensuring compliance with compliance, appears at an upcoming hearing in the Northern District of California, which is planned for May 27.

Apple said in a statement on Friday that Fortnite would not remove alternative sales marketplaces.

CNBC has turned to Apple and epic games to get a comment.

On Monday, Tim Sweeney, CEO of Epic Games, said in a post on X that “Apple does not accept or reject our submission of Fortnite. They would simply ignore them until the rules of the 9th circuit court would be for their residence application at the end of May or June.”

In the Monday, Rogers said that the ninth Court of Appeal still did not give Apple a stay of the injunction after 12 days.

“A briefing is made in the schedule below and includes the legal authority on which Apple claims that the order of this court can ignore,” wrote the judge.

Apple originally removed from his App Store in 2020 and ended the US App Store from Epic Games after the developer used a direct payment technology in his game that Apple does not allow.

This distance started a legal dispute between epic games and Apple, which was originally decided in 2021, via the platform of the iPhone manufacturer and the way in which it pays off and the app developers limited.

During Apple, the decision prevailed to forced the company to make limited changes to its link guideline under California law.

Rogers decided at the end of April that Apple Vice President Finance Alex Roman overlooked the Court of Justice when Apple decided to raise a fee of 27% for some purchases outside the App Store. After their decision in the case, it was expected that off-app purchases would not have a cut for Apple.

Apple said it would make an appeal.

Since this decision, Spotify And Amazon Kindle has submitted his apps again to enable customer purchases outside the App Store. Apple has already approved these apps.
