A comb with high pressure and offshore river will increase the temperatures on Monday

Happy Sunday, central coast! Get ready for the heat because a high -pressure ridge will bring very hot weather with it this week and reached a climax on Wednesday and Thursday. These high temperatures will be well above the normal value for this season.

Memory: Make sure you stay hydrated, drink a lot of water and limit your sunlight, especially on Wednesday and Thursday. Know the signs of heat creation and check those who are susceptible to the heat.

Detailed forecast: On Sunday, Stratocumulus clouds decided to be in parts of California.

Due to the increasing high pressure and the weakening of the Onshore flow, these clouds did not stop the temperatures in the 1970s in California, with the coasts in the 1960s until the low 1970s.

For this season, these temperatures are still a few degrees below the normal value.

The increasing offshore river from the north and east overnight leads to Sunday evening in the advisory level and in the interior in the mountains of Santa, the Santa Ynez Coastal Range (eastern and western parts) and the southwestern part of the south coast.

The shift of the light offshore river together with a warm air mass will bring much warmer temperatures on Monday and Tuesday.

The high pressure comb will move over the state on Monday. The daily highs will jump 3 to 6 degrees over the coasts and 6 to 12 degrees on site, 15 degrees over the rest of the area.

Most areas outside the immediate coast will be up to the lower 90s on Monday in the 80s.

While there will be a break during the day, the Gusty Sundowner Winde returns over the entire Santa Ynez Range and the southwestern part of the south coast on Monday evening and overnight.

These winds, paired with low relative humidity, will give the southern part of the Santa Barbara district of increased fire weather concerns.

The high pressure comb will flatten out until Tuesday, but the temperatures will continue to rise. The offshore flow continues and the sky becomes clear.
