3 dead in the fiery plano -crash on hwy. 75

Plano, Texas – – Officials from the Plano Police Department say that three people died early Sunday morning in the 1700 block of the US Highway 75 in an accident.

Triple fatal crash

What we know:

Officials say that the crash took place in the alleys to the north around 2:30 a.m.

The police say that a small SUV had joined the construction barriers and the concrete barrier bumped into flames.

As soon as Plano Fire-Rescue had wiped out the fire, they found three people in the vehicle.

What we don’t know:

It is unclear whether the victims have died of the effects of the crash or fire.

The cause of the crash is still being examined.

The Collin County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the identity of the victims as soon as the next one is notified by Kin.

Jerry Minton from the Plano Police Department said the fire was difficult to keep.

“Because of the fire and the heat. Nobody could approach him until Plano Fire could extinguish it.” said Minton. “After what I understand from some officers and things and which I hear about it was very terrible and that we have a peer support group here, and I think that is activated for the officers who were on site.”

Minton tells Fox 4 that they are working on properly identifying the victims and contacting Kin’s next to the victims.
