Oxford, Miss. – Ole Miss got an early lead and never lost it, although the Auburn Tigers followed the rebels the rest of the game. The end result Friday evening: Rebels 15, Tigers 11.


Ole Miss improved to 37-17 in the season and 16-13 in the game of the Southeasters Conference. Auburn has identical records of 37-17 and 16-13.


The two teams complete the series on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Ole Miss was 9-2 victorious in game 1 on Thursday evening.



Judd Utermark Runed the way for Ole Miss in the second game with seven RBI on two home runs and one single.
