Combative Trophy Day ahead Celtic quick news

St. Mirren won eight points from their four after the Split games, secondly only for Celtic in this regard. Fifth place and a European place looked out of reach a month ago, but when the saints anchored these points, Dundee United lost all games. The Tannadice Club clung to the European place with a single point.

This means that we can expect Stephen Robinson tomorrow in Celtic Park in combative form. With the already secured league title, Brendan Rodgers will take into account with all its historical consequences of the Scottish Cup final of the next week. His fear is reinforced by the injury to be again on Wednesday during the combative game.

This should mean that we see a similar line -up by Wednesday. James Forrest, Yang and Johnny Kenny led the line, with Maik Nawrocki and Auston Trusted by Anthony Ralston and Jeffrey Schlupp on the back.

Luke McCowan and Paulo Bernardo would both benefit from more seasons to see whether they can build on the good work with Pittodrie, while Callum McGregor will surely start a festive day. Viljami Sinisalo has impressed in the past two months, but if Brendan wants to play Kasper Schmeichel in the Cup final, he should play tomorrow. Spinnweben were obvious against Hibs last week, another excursion would help the goalkeeper.

Enjoy the sunshine on the trophy day.
