White Sox begin the series against Cincinnati Reds

Cincinnati – The White Sox return to a Pitching strategy that you used to do in the season. Manager will plan Venable to use the Left -Händer Brandon Eisert as an opener for the game against the Reds on Tuesday, followed the usual starting jug Jonathan Cannon.

The team recently used an opener on April 29 with a 7-2 defeat against the brewers when the left-hander Tyler Gilbert opened the game before turning things about the right-handed Brysen Wilson. Gilbert was used three times as an opener and a game is opened for the second time. For the first time on April 27, he did this against athletics and allowed a run and two goals in an inning to start a 3-2 loss.

Cannon took seven starts and followed an opener once this season. He last did this on April 29 against athletics, a 10: 3 victory, in which Cannon three deserved runs in 7.2 Innings allowed, longest season excursion. Gilbert opened this game with a goalless inning and Penn Murfe recorded the final.

Venable spoke Pregame about the decision to use an opener.

“Had the good feeling that you (TJ) Friedl and (Elly) de la Cruz would do among the top three what you have against left -handers. So we get the Matchup in front,” said Venable. “And I think, just as important or more important, that Jon (Cannon) gives the opportunity to really get in the game really.

The White Sox try to continue their dynamics over the weekend when they won two out of three games against the Marlins. Since May 3, the Reds have reached a difficult patch with 2-7 with losses to nationals, well-being and Astros.
