Two reasons why Juventus Hope Huijsen Chelsea joined in the summer transfer window

The former Dean Huijsen, the former Juventus defender, will probably be one of the large moving companies of the Summer Transfer window, and the Bianconeri have several reasons to hope that after an impressive breakthrough season in the Premier League from Bournemouth.

Huijsen came through the Malaga academy and later Juventus and represented the next generation 2023-24 before being loaned under Jose Mourinho for the second half of this season.

The opportunities in the Juventus First team did not achieve for Huijsen, which was later sold for a total fee in the region of € 18 million to Bournemouth. With a publication clause, which is almost EUR 60 million (£ 50 million), the recently limited Spanish international was only able to be sold on the English south coast with a significant profit after only one year.

Why Juventus Hope Huijsen closes to Chelsea

Juventus negotiated a 10% sales clause at the time of selling Huijsen to Bournemouth, which means that they are entitled to a fee of almost EUR 6 million if its publication clause is activated this summer.

For two main reasons, Juventus hopes that Chelsea is the club that convinces Huijsen this summer.

First, the signing of a new central defender would probably confirm that there is no place in the plans of the first team for Renato Veiga, who is currently loan from Chelsea to Juventus.

Reports from Tuttosport suggest that the old lady is interested in keeping Veiga on board and that they could try to negotiate a new series of loan conditions for the 2025-26 season.

For this reason, Huijsen zu Chelsea would also be practical because the money that is applied from Huijsen’s publication clause could immediately be invested in a new range of Chelsea for Veiga.

The reports on Tuesday claim that the Bianconeri could try to negotiate a new, seasonal loan contract for Veiga with an option or possibly even a purchase obligation.
