This week in the DC area for wet weather. The rain begins late Monday and stays all day on Tuesday. Shower and storm chances are still in forecast from Wednesday to Sunday, although most days will be dry with a few scattered showers or storms.

At the moment it looks as if most of the weather will remain under severe criteria, but there could still be a few dangers. You should be careful on the flash and water pond on streets and have a little chance of flooding in some districts. The ramps that get on and off from highways can sometimes be flooded. The atmosphere has a lot of moisture to work.

For Tuesday, a flood guard was issued for areas west of the I -95 if 1.50 “2.50” rain “is expected. Locally higher sums of 3.00” + are possible closer to the I-81 corridor.
