Preparation of your car before rising temperatures

Sherman, Texas (KXII) – The temperatures heat up in Texoma and you want to take precautionary measures to ensure that your car remains cool.

According to AAA Texas, extreme heat can damage parts of your car considerably if you are not careful.

“The three best emergencies on the roadside that can be seen in summer, dead batteries, engine problems with overheating and flat tires,” said Daniel Armbruster Daniel Armbruster AAA.

Armbruster said you have to make sure your car is ready before the temperatures get almost 100 degrees of Fahrenheit.

Let your automotive battery test it when it is older than three years.

“When it comes to your parts under the bonnet, the components of the rubber sky cool system are susceptible to heat -related deterioration. Check these hoses and these dry belts for cracking or wearing if you suspect that there is a problem, take it as soon as possible to see a trustworthy mechanic,” said crossbow.

Keep your eye on your tire pressure.

“Overinflated tires can lead to uneven wear, it reduces handling, it makes tires more susceptible to risk of road.

To stay cool inside, make sure that your car has enough coolant.

Never leave a child or pet in an unattended vehicle for every time.

“Even a few minutes, if the window cracks the window, it can lead to fatal temperatures in this vehicle in just a few minutes.”

One of many memories for a smooth transition to summer.
