The history of mental health reappears while the community is trying to understand tragedy

In the further course of the investigation, more information about the possible victims and their fights will appear. According to public records and reports, Jeremy and Bailey Koch were co -founders of anchoring the hope of mental health, a non -profit organization that struggle to raise awareness and support of people who are fighting against mental illnesses.

In fact, the couple had publicly shared their own experience with mental health. A Gofundme page that was created by Bailey a few years ago revealed Jeremy’s long history with depression.

The description in the fundraiser shared heartbreaking details:

“Jeremy Koch was diagnosed ‘severe depression in 2009,” Bailey had written. “We lived in the dark for years. We did not say our truth to anyone. We finally shared our reality in 2015 after Jeremy survived at least four attempts. The worst was almost deadly in 2012 … A car accident where he drove directly into a semi. And relieved.

The fundraising campaign had collected over 20,000 US dollars to help the family with the administration of medical and mental health costs. Jeremy’s fight against depression, as explained by Bailey, was long and painful.

The latest signs of the fight

Just a few days before the tragedy, Bailey achieved an update that pointed out that Jeremy had recently been released from the hospital and opened a new medication for his mental health. However, she mentioned that the adjustment had not gone well.

“It was very difficult for him to get out of bed this morning after I left, he called me while I was on my way to work and told me that he would go back to bed,” wrote Bailey.

While the investigators have not officially confirmed whether the deaths in the Koch family are involved, the community is aimed at the worst because the facts continue to develop.
