The rotary crews were discovered on Thursday in Fatty’s Pizza in Cherry and the Second Street to replace the usual decor of the restaurant with red tablecloths and the signage on the subject of New York. The actual filming is planned for Friday.

“It is so nice that some employees of the film industry come to the city center,” said Jeff Micham, who works at Feigen and Ivy Plant Shop the street along the turning location. “I think it’s great. It will draw attention to the city center.”

Although the officials were not confirmed, the series star Sylvester Stallone could occur during the filming on Friday, which is planned from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Ivy Rhodes, who works at Fatty’s Pizza at Mossy Creek Natural from Fatty’s Pizza, shares the excitement that Hollywood comes into town.

“We will not only be able to film the actual film, but we will turn the people who are over there, the actual show, maybe some of the film teams,” maybe some of the actors in the shop, “said Rhodes.

She hopes that the exposure will show what Macon has to offer.

“You will be able to support and see the local business what we have on site, and maybe more people will bring more people to the city center of Macon and maybe people will make people make sure that Macon is the nice thing about what it is,” said Rhodes.

Rhodes also emphasized how the film industry brings people from large cities to experience Macon’s unique local companies.

“Here we have the film industry, the people from California, Atlanta, New York, bring all these big cities that would experience more big business, but here we have all local companies,” she said.
