Goedert played all seven of his NFL games at the Philadelphia Eagles, who selected him with the 49th overall selection in the 2018 NFL design from the state of South Dakota.

He was a productive player for Philadelphia, who initially added him to serve Zach Ertz behind the narrow end. When Ertz and the Eagles separated, Goedert became the undisputed TE1 of the team.

In seven seasons, Goedert generated an average of 17 games of 64 catches, 747 yards and four touchdowns per football reference. Goedert caught 349 passes for 4,085 yards and 24 touchdowns for his career. He added 52 receptions for 562 yards and four points in the playoffs.

Last year, Goedert missed three regular season with a thigh injury and four more with one knee injury, but he still ended with 42 catches for 496 yards and two points. He then led the team to the Super Bowl (215 yards and a touchdown for 17 receptions) during his march.

Goedert missed 15 games in three years due to various injuries, but that didn’t prevent him from being a productive member of the Eagles when he is healthy. He also contributed to the team of the team for the Super Bowl in 2022 (16/141/1) and 2024.

Goedert originally signed an extension of four years by $ 57 million in 2021, which ran in the 2025 season.

In the off -season, it came about that the Eagles could try to exchange Goedert according to NFL insiders Josina Anderson.

According to McLane, “Goedert had the opportunity to go, but the Engen and the Eagles finally decided that the best procedure was to work on a new deal that holds him in Philly for the foreseeable future.”

It remains to be seen whether Goeder’s term in Philly goes beyond 2025, but his return offers the continuity for the offensive led by Jalen Hurts, which wants to repeat itself as a super Bowl champions.
