China sends the honor guard for the anniversary of the victory to Russia and Belarus on the day of the victory

China’s Ministry of Defense said on Monday that an honorary guard for military parades in the Russian and Belarusian capitals would send to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the defeat of Nazi Germany on Friday.

Beijing sent honor guard to Moscow in 2015 to mark a parade on the day of the Victory Day. However, this is the first time that a Chinese guards take part in a similar event in Minsk.

Videos in Chinese social media showed the rehearsals of the Chinese soldiers in Minsk and Moscow last week.

As part of the preparations for the parade in Moscow, Chinese soldiers practiced in Red Square “Guerillas’ Song”, according to Global Times on Sunday. The patriotic song describes the need of Chinese soldiers during the second Chinese-Japanese war, which is generally referred to as a resistance war against Japanese aggression in China.
