What the draft of 2025 means for Ceedee Lamb

The cowboys prioritize lines in the NFL design and let the recipient room thin.

Tyler, Texas – The NFL design has come and gone.

The cowboys held 10 of the 257 picks about the triple event and used their most valued choice for Alabama-Wachmann Tyler Booker. The other 9 picks went to running backs, more lineman and other defensive depths, but no broad receivers.

If you feel the room, you can see the cowboys, you will see Ceedee Lamb and not much more. He had 73 other destinations and 584 yards as the next wide receiver in the team, Jalen Tolbert.

This type of speed led to an elite season from lamb, but at the expense of his health. A shoulder injury in the back of the season. The cowboys could really use a recipient to share the load with lamb, but after the design, the options for the free agency do not look promising.

Amari Cooper, Nelson Agholor and Keenan all lead the options for the best free agents. If this were in 2019, it is an all-pro lineup. However, it is 2025 and the best production of this former top recipient is behind you.

Lamb better hope that the training room is as occupied as the cowboys now because it will have a lot on his plate again in 2025.
