Mark Scheifele from Jets Castle for game 7 against blues

Mark Scheifele, the striker of Winnipeg, played on Sunday in game 7 of the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoff series of the Jets against the St. Louis Blues due to an undisclosed injury, said coach Scott Arniel.

Arniel excluded Scheifele after the team’s morning skate. He was injured in game 5 in the first period before leaving only 8:05 a.m.-and then did not travel with the jets to St. Louis for game 6. Arniel had previously said that Scheifele was a decision for game 7.

The 32 -year -old Scheifele ran in a track suit on Saturday and Arniel said reporters that the veteran felt better than the day before. However, Scheifele was able to take part in the Jets on the on-day session of the Jets by Sunday, which quickly points out that it would not be available for the game.

Winnipeg had a 2-0 lead against St. Louis in the series before the blues fell back 2-2 with two wins. So far, the home team has won every game in the best-of-Seven series.

The challenge of the jets to close St. Louis only increases without a sheaf. Winnipeg has already dealt with the uneven game of goalkeeper Connor Hellebuyck, an important story in the series. Hellebuyck was pulled in St. Louis in St. Louis in all three starts, while he gave up 16 goals with 66 shots (0.758 SV%). In game 6, Hellebuyck allowed four goals in just 5 minutes, 23 seconds of the second period.

Hellebuyck was Winnipeg’s backbone during the regular season and received a nomination from Hart Trophy and Vezina Trophy (0.925 SV%, 2.00 GAA) for his perfect year.
