Friend of 'American Idol' Teen John Foster reveals his real name

“I am not related to Dwight Yoakam,” he wrote, “I am currently not signed under a record label (there were some misinformation that Dwight Yoakam signed me under Sugar Hill Records).”

“I hope this helps you to know me better as a person because you know more about my music,” he added.

John Foster is still interested in oncology and has just introduced cancer fundraisers
