Stars at Avalanche, Western Conference 1. Round game 6 Preview

Number to know: Three. So many Straight Games Avalanche Defenseman Cale Makar went without a dot. The only other time that happened during his NHL career? Last year against Dallas. He scored two goals in the next game.

What is to be found: Is the avalanche out at home in a desperate situation and dominates like in game 4? Do the stars find a way to remove the avalanche in the Ball Arena, as they did in 6th game 6 last year?

What you say

“I don’t like the word despair. I think it has a kind of negative connotation. I like intensity and focus. … We want to put it on the table whether we look forward to the elimination or hopefully remove someone. I think the mood in this room was a bit different, I felt for us. – Star Center Matt Duchenee

“I don’t think we play better when we press. We have a great game plan, and if we do this, the pucks seem to find the back of the network naturally. I think that’s the key. Obviously doing or dying it, but so that we play our best, we have to stay and run at the moment.” – Avalanche center Nathan Mackinnon
