Storm possible for parts of New England later today

It is officially in May and that means that we go into the heavy storm season here in Neuengland. While the cool ocean case usually protects our region on site at this time of the storms, this will not be the case throughout south -Neugeland. The temperatures this afternoon will take a run for the interior at 80 degrees, while the Onshore river keeps coastal locations in particular in the 1960s.

Today’s slightly severe risk (2/5), which is equipped by the Storm Prediction Center, emphasizes parts of central and West masss. A marginal severe risk (1/5) comprises parts of the Northern Providence County via East Massachusetts. The main threats will be the nuclear winds, with hail and floods as secondary threats to every storm.

Although the storm threat for Rhode Island and Southeast Massachusetts is limited as a whole, it takes up between 4 and 8 p.m. Non-infus showering and rumbling can take until midnight if the instability of daily processes drops.

The main question is whether these storms will have an impact on the Rifc Home Opener in Pawtucket. At the moment it looks like the game has a warm and sunny start, but a temporary storm cannot be ruled out later.

We keep our fingers crossed, but you have sure that there is a plan if/if there is a storm. Whenever thunder roars, go inside!

The rest of the weekend and the new working week contains dark conditions and rainy periods. The best chance for widespread rainfall will come early Monday, with another batch for the day on Tuesday.

The models are in the majority of the region at least one centimeter precipitation and the potential for many more in which thunderstorms develop.

Enjoy the beautiful weather today, but keep an eye on the sky later this afternoon!
