Here is a current football story by The Associated Press:

London (AP) -The Bournemouth striker Evanilson had a ban on three games after his red card against Manchester United in the Premier League on Wednesday.

The Brazilian was released in the 70th minute of the 1-1 draw with United on Sunday in the Vitality Stadium after Nussair Mazraoui challenge.

The suspension was removed after a successful claim to illegal discharge by Bournemouth, with Evanilson shining before taking Mazraoui out.

Evanilson will now be available on Saturday and for games against Aston Villa and Manchester City against Arsenal.

“An independent regulatory commission has eliminated the ban on Evanilson after a successful claim to illegal dismissal,” says a statement by the football association.

“The AFC Bournemouth striker was sent on Sunday, April 27, during the game of the Premier League against Manchester United to achieve serious foul.”

Evanilson was originally shown by referee Peter Bankes for his foul on Mazraoui a yellow card. After an intervention by the referee of the video assistant, the punishment was upgraded to red after the bank had seen repetitions of the incident on a pitch-side monitor.

United achieved a compensation for stop times to refuse the 10-man victory Bournemouth.

With four games, Bournemouth is in 10th place – a point from Fulham and Brighton when they follow European qualifications.

“I am frustrated, for us there are two points that are massive, large consequences,” said Bournemouth, Andoni Iraola, after the United match with regard to Evanilsons.

“Now the effects are larger because they have no time to restore these points, and there are two points that are very expensive for us.”
