In the middle of the online madness, Virat initially shared no clarification on his Instagram. Virat screenshots who like the contribution were viral on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram. Kohli tried to suppress the growing speculation and went on Instagram stories to clarify his attitude.

He wrote: “I would like to make it clear that the algorithm incorrectly registered an interaction during the rooms of my feed. There was absolutely no intention. I ask that no unnecessary assumptions are made. Thank you for your understanding.”
