Liberal Mark Carney ensures the election of Canada in the middle of Trump’s 51st state comments

While the last number of seats are still outstanding, Canadian channels have described that Mark Carney prompted the liberals to win at Canada’s election on Monday.

From 10:10 p.m. ET, the Liberals 123 of 343 Ridings won or led. The Conservatives from Pierre Poilievr have so far contradicted 88 ridings. According to CTV News, parties need 172 seats to form a majority.

Carney’s victory cemented the Liberal Party decade in power and replaces former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who has headed the country since 2015.

Carney joined the elected prime minister when Trudeau resigned in March.

In a social media post on the day of the Canadian election, President Donald Trump suggested that Canadian vote for him so that Canada becomes the 51st state.

“Choose the man who has the strength and wisdom to reduce your taxes in half halves to increase your military power free of charge at the highest level in the world.

He added: “America can no longer subsidize Canada with the hundreds of billions of dollars a year that we have spent in the past. It makes no sense unless Canada is a state!”

Despite Trump’s proposal, Canadian cannot vote for him because he is not on the ballot. There are 16 registered political parties in Canada – although the liberals and the conservatives are most dominant. Other parties are the green party, the libertarian party, the United Party and the Canadian Future Party.

In response to the post of President, the conservative party leader Pierre Pillievre gave a sharp answer and said Trump should “keep our choice out”.

“The only people who will decide on the future of Canada are Canadians in the ballot box. Canada will always be proud, confident and independent, and we will never be the 51st state,” Pioilievre wrote in a contribution to X. “Today Canadians can vote for changes so that we can strengthen our country on our own two foot and stand by strength of strength from strength.”

Canada has a parliamentary system, which means that Carney will continue to act as prime minister.

Almost all surveys for the election are expected to be completed on Monday at 9:30 p.m.
