Southwest Miami-Dade, Fla. (WSVN) -The suspect in a warehouse in the southwest of Miami -Dade, in which several people were injured, is dead according to 7News.

The incident occurred on Thursday at 1 p.m. in the 7,300 block of the Southwest 45th Street near the Palmetto Expressway and Bird Road.

Several law enforcement agencies, including the Special Response team from the Miami-Dade police authority and the sheriff office of the sheriff in Miami-Dade, reacted to the scene.

According to reports, at least four people were shot, although the extent of their injuries was not immediately known.

Aerial photographs of 7Skyforce showed a heavy police presence in the area and several people who were accompanied by the building with elevated hands.

The situation remains active.

The authorities ask the public to avoid the area in the course of the examination.
