Maple Leaf’s self -confident stolance can be “huge” again in game 2 of the eastern 1st round

The biggest problem with Woll, the current partner of the Stolanz, was his ability to stay healthy. It was expected that he started in her first round against Boston against game 7 in her first round before a last minute and Iissed injury Samsonov forced to get the nod in Toronto’s 2-1 loss against the extension.

Woll played well this season, but it was the stolance that earned number 1 in the playoffs, which was partly on a late course of the regular season, in which he won his last eight games, which were highlighted by three Shutouts.

But let’s keep things in the perspective here -the stolance had never started an NHL playoff game before Sunday. He appeared in the relief of Florida Panthers last season in the post-season and played 34:50 a.m. with an 8: 1 defeat against the Edmonton Oilers in the game 4 of the Cup final.

His work at this time of year is about as limited as possible.

And when the stolance was not on the ice on Monday, there were concerns that the 31-year-old might have been injured after the senators had gotten into him with 4:22 in Robile Greig’s third period.

But Berube said there is no reason to worry. It was a planned day of rest, the type of load management that the Maple Leafs had discussed with their goalkeepers in front of the playoffs.

And for those who continue to buy the conspiracy theory that he may be violated, Woll remained late on the ice after the practice for additional work.

The stolance became a knee surgery in December and missed almost two months, but did not injure the collision with Greig after the game on Sunday.

“I’m fine,” said Stolanz. “He just came in and caught me in a little unpleasant place. My knee hit the post there, something that has just happened. He blown a tire. I felt good and I could end the game.”

The Maple Leaf’s challenge was presented by the Maple Leafs, which he comprises, especially after he served as a backup from Sergei Bobrovsky during the Panthers run last season.

“Look when my number is called to make a large saving, I try to do that,” he said.

Mission fulfilled, at least in game 1.

Of those in the dressing cabin of Maple Leafs, nobody is self-confident stolons in the playoffs as defender Oliver Ekman-Larsson. The two were teammates with Florida last season and shared the cheers to win the trophy together.

“I think I could see that in practice he even shoots him that he could shine if he had the chance to be a goalkeeper of number 1 in this league, even though I didn’t achieve much,” said Ekman-Larsson with a giggling Monday, which obviously overlooked the fact that he scored the goal in game 1.

“Seriously, he really wants to be the guy. He is a big guy, but he moves well. He is such a good person and works really hard. Only an incredible teammate.

“I am happy for him. Get well.”
