Ready for a mystery that makes her hungry? Well, that will probably happen today, so hopefully you have breakfast.

How to play strands

The New York Times beach puzzle is a piece for the classic word search. It is in the beta for now, which means that it only stays that way if there are enough people every day.

There is a new game with strands every day. The game presents you a six times eight grids with letters. The aim is to find a group of words that have something in common and you get an indication of what this topic is. If you find a topic, it remains highlighted in blue.

You also have to find a special word called Spangram. This tells them what the words have in common. The Spangram connects two opposite sides of the board. While the themed words are not a real name, the Spangram can be a real name. If you find the Spangram, it remains yellow.

Be warned: you have to be busy.

If you let it. I have the feeling that I usually don’t get a soup in a café, but most will serve it, I assume. Maybe I’m leaning too far into Starbucks and not enough in real cafés. Otherwise, thanks to Sabrina Carpenter and her song of the Summer, I knew how to easily spell espresso, which may not have happened before.
