WSU instructor arrested because he had attacked the student in Trump hat

An instructor and doctoral student of the Washington State University (WSU) was arrested because he allegedly attacked an engineering student who wore a red “Take America Back” from the Donald Trump campaign 2024, as can be seen from a police report by “The Jason Rantz Show” on KTTH.

The victim, Jay Sani, said Pullman Police that he would go to a restaurant when the suspect, who was identified as Patrick Mahoney, reached the Maga hat and threw him on the street. After the police tried to defend themselves, they say that Mahoney together with a second suspect that was identified as Gerald Hoff “grabbed Sani and brought him to the ground”.

Who is Patrick Mahoney from WSU?
