WSU instructor arrested because he had attacked the student in Trump hat

An instructor and doctoral student of the Washington State University (WSU) was arrested because he allegedly attacked an engineering student who wore a red “Take America Back” from the Donald Trump campaign 2024, as can be seen from a police report by “The Jason Rantz Show” on KTTH.

The victim, Jay Sani, said Pullman Police that he would go to a restaurant when the suspect, who was identified as Patrick Mahoney, reached the Maga hat and threw him on the street. After the police tried to defend themselves, they say that Mahoney together with a second suspect that was identified as Gerald Hoff “grabbed Sani and brought him to the ground”.

“When Mahoney grabbed the head of Sani on the floor and slammed into the ground. Sani then moved his hands at about the shoulder height and said something that was to make the effect of his hands so as not to make the fight worse.

The incident was recorded for video surveillance.

Officer describes his investigation of the alleged attack

The official said he contacted Mahoney and asked him what happened. According to the officer, he described Sani as “Old Boy”. The police report says that Mahoney has admitted to grab his hat and throw it on the street and to tell the officer: “You know that you are f ** king if you wear this hat, you wanted someone to look at him, right?”

“I asked Mahoney what happened tonight. Mahoney said he saw
Hat.'”

Mahoney told the police that Sani replied with a “body check” or “grave”, and then he brought Sani to the ground before “Sani struck and specified that the blow on Sanis was pine.”

The official then arrested both Mahoney and Hoff for assault.

Who is Patrick Mahoney from WSU?

The daily evergreen Reports that Mahoney is a WSU trainer, doctoral student at the School of Politics, Philosophy and Public Affairs and a former guide for United Auto Workers 4591, a union for WSU students.

Sacrifice speaks against “poisonous” links

Sani published an explanation on Facebook in which he described the alleged attack. He says he also retained legal representation. He called “how poisonous the left has become” and found that he was injured due to the alleged attack.

“To make it clear, I hate saying that, but I’m (sic) brown, but forget it,” he wrote. “I am an engineering student who wants to graduate and want to continue. So what if I like someone you don’t like. We have the 1st change application, and it is not okay that because you don’t like this person should be attacked. You have a chance to displace it in November, but you didn’t.”
