2025 Supercross Salt Lake City 250 qualification results for round 17: Cole Davies crashes hard in the first quarter

Salt Lake City, Utah: Cole Davies and Jordon Smith crashed hard into qualification for the final of the Supercross season. Both drivers rose slowly, but Davies needed additional support and the Alpine Medical Cart.

Race Day Live reported on Peacock that Davies had suffered an arm injury and was taken to a local hospital.

Haiden Deegan had nothing to lose in the last round, so he put a sprinter and led the table.

Qualification 1

RJ Hampshire gently hit the ground in the 250 East Division. He also had an incident in free practice.

Seth Hammaker set the pace with a round of 47.415 early on Tom Vialles on the second best 48.277.

Austin Forkner (48,393) took third place.

Fourth place Nate Thrasher (48.450) and RJ Hampshire (48.452) rounded off the top 5.

250 EAST Qualification 1 results

In the 250 West Division, Cole Davies began with a rhythm section and Jordon Smith jumped into him at full speed and brought out the red flag. Both drivers rose slowly. When they parked the bicycles, Haiden Deegan ran to the place of the crash to look at Davies.

“It’s a crap for Cole,” said Deegan at the end of this session. “I gave it in. He is strong. He will be fine. Prayer for him and hope that he has a smooth recovery, but it is time to join and have a good night of the race.”

Davies was brought to the medical car, but put on when he was asked by the route.

Davies and Smith were on the table at the time of the incident.

Haiden Deegan jumped into the 250 East charts with 47.312 in the last rounds.

Davies stayed second, but could hardly work together for the 250 West Heat.

Jo Shimoda (50.175) was third.

Fourth place Julien Beaumer (48.233) and Smith (48.488) rounded off the top 5.
